।।সব কিছু মিলে ঘেঁটে ঘ হয়ে যাওয়া কেই খিঁচুড়ি বলে।।
খিঁচুড়ি টা সুস্বাদু এবং মুখরোচক খাবার।এটা শুধু বাঙালি নয় বিভিন্ন জাতির মানুষ খায় বা খেতে পছন্দ করে।যদিও বাঙালি রা খিঁচুড়ি টা পুজো পার্বণ বেশী ব্যবহার করে, একটু আধটু বৃষ্টি হলেই বেশির ভাগ বাঙালি দের ঘরে খাবার মেনু তে খিঁচুড়ি থাকে।
খিঁচুড়ি কী, সেটা তো আমরা জানলাম,কিন্তু এই খিঁচুড়ি এটা শুধু খাবার নয়! এটা একপ্রকার ইমোশন।কিছু কথা, ভালোলাগা, ভালোবাসা, রাগ, অভিমান, পছন্দ, অপছন্দ, ভিড়ভাট্টা, জাতির ভেদাভেদ,এসব মিলে যখন ঘেঁটে যাই সেটাই হলো খিঁচুড়ি।

Khichdi is a delicious and appetizing meal. It is not just Bengali but people of different cultures like to taste or eat. Although Bengalis are using this meal more in festivals, most Bengalis keep the food on the menu in the rainy days.
Khichdi? We know that. But this is not just a meal, its a kind of emotions, some words, love, anger, pride, likes, dislikes, crowds, culture, news, politics, when all these things are mixed up together is Khichdi.
